250th Anniversary Commemorative Medal

This beautiful plated medal and miniature have been struck to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Capture of Quebec City. Is it a faithful replica of the original housed in the National Maritime Museum, London. Special permission has been granted for the production of 100 medals, to be distributed only to members of The 78th Fraser Highlanders! Thereafter, the molds were destroyed.

The original medal was created for the Canadian campaign of the Seven Years War to recognize individual acts of bravery or distinguished service leading to the capture of Quebec City in 1759. It was awarded to members of the army and navy.
